How to Evaluate a Casino Promotion

Most affiliate sites publish a table of current bonuses. We do not, for two reasons.
The first is accuracy. Promotional terms change without notice, and a stale bonus table is actively harmful — a reader who claims an offer on the strength of terms we published last month, and finds different terms applied, is worse off than if we had published nothing.
The second is that the headline number is the least informative part of any offer. A 200% match with a ×25 turnover on deposit plus bonus is a worse deal than a 100% match with a ×15 turnover on bonus alone, and no listing table communicates that. What follows is the method instead.
The five questions
- Is it cash or bonus credit?Cash is withdrawable now. Bonus credit carries conditions. This one question resolves most of the ambiguity in casino marketing.
- What is the turnover multiplier, and on what base?"Bonus ×15" and "(deposit + bonus) ×15" differ by roughly a factor of two. Multiply it out into an actual ringgit figure of required wagering before deciding.
- What is the maximum withdrawal from this offer?If bonus winnings are capped at a small amount, nothing else in the terms matters. Check this first on any no-deposit offer.
- What is the maximum bet while the bonus is active?Exceeding it, even once by accident, typically voids all bonus winnings — and the breach is usually detected at withdrawal review rather than blocked at the time.
- Would I be depositing or playing this anyway?If not, the promotion is generating the behaviour rather than rewarding it. That is what it was built to do.
Contribution rates: the silent multiplier
A wagering requirement is stated in one number but delivered through a contribution table. If slots contribute 100% and live tables contribute 10%, then clearing RM3,000 of turnover on live tables actually requires RM30,000 of wagering.

Find the contribution table before you choose where to play, not after.
The clauses that void winnings
- Maximum bet while bonus is active — the most common cause of voided balances.
- Excluded games — playing one can forfeit the bonus outright.
- Time limit — unfinished turnover at expiry usually means forfeiture of the bonus and its winnings.
- Bonus buys — often excluded from wagering, and using one can void the bonus.
- "Irregular play" clauses — deliberately broad, and generally cover any low-risk strategy for clearing turnover.
- Withdrawal cancels the bonus — requesting a payout mid-turnover forfeits it.
- One per person, household, device and IP — claiming twice can close both accounts.

Our honest recommendation
On a platform you have not used before, decline the bonus on your first deposit. Test that a small withdrawal completes, then consider promotions afterwards.
An affiliate site is not supposed to advise declining bonuses.
